Very true. Was forced to leave two fellowships because we were too woke(loving, caring, inclusive, accepting, etc). Now, our fellowship is our neighborhood complete with believers, doubters, searchers, MAGAs, atheists and we love them all.

2024, having just moved into a new neighborhood, my verse was John 1:14, where Jesus moved into the neighborhood and hung out with us. I decided to start a home church. 9 neighbors said cool and after two months it was dead. This year my verse is simpler: Love God and Love Others.
