In 1938, Hitler threatened the Sudetenland region of Czechoskovakia and Chamberlain unilaterally gave it to Hitler for a promise to cease his aggression. Months later, Hitler seized the rest of the country and set in motion the path to WW2 because England wouldn't stand up to a bully aggressor.

Trump is now the same as the Great Appeaser British PM Neville Chamberlain, seeking "peace for our time" by trying to unilaterally force Ukraine to cede its invaded eastern provinces & Crimea to Putin w/o its or NATOs consent. If it happens, look for Putin to return for the rest of Ukraine soon.

How Illini play vs Bama @ Birmingham will be benchmark vs Top 10 teams and Purdue. I think our freshmen, Euro guys and transfers will all shine. We have some of the best talent in country and just need to gel. Move the ball, hit those 3s, control the boards, and reduce turnovers. I-L-L

Will Rodgers, early 20th century, part Cherokee, humorist and citizen philosopher said "I do not belong to an organized political party. I am a Democrat". Nothing has changed in a century! But I'd rather live with the chaos than in a GOP world where everyone has to think their way.
