Side note. There are eight members of the joint chiefs. the chair is black. the CNO (navy) is a woman. the other six are white guys. chair and the cno got fired tonight.

Why do doctors think RFK's position on vaccines is as dangerous as it is ridiculous? Because he's basically saying, "let's suspend chemotherapeutic medications for cancer until we subject them all to brand new randomized-controlled trials." Put more simply, without them, more people will die.

Yesterday ~68 people employed in HHS's Administration for Children & Families early childhood offices were terminated. I'm told Office of Head Start lost ~20% of staff; Office of Child Care lost ~25% These workers process grants for preschools/childcare centers, monitor health/safety issues, etc.
