The oldest continuing business in Phoenix is now Majerle's sports bar. Built in 1880 as a general store, it's been in continuous operation as a business since! The upper stories were law offices, and also residences at points too!

Where our first episodes in politic dysfunction began! The old Capitol assembly room in Arizona! Fun fact: Taft wouldnt sign us to become a State because of our desire to elect judges instead of appoint them; So, we removed the clause. Then added it back in later when we got Statehood. #AZHistory
