The Orange Dotard is a Gargamel-esque cartoon villain. An eternal bungler, and blatant embarrassment.

"While there are far better candidates to make the argument against prescribed body and beauty standards, Crumb has nonetheless become a part of the conversation." My latest piece on Substack: artfullyexercising.substack.com/p/fit-figure...

Just get rid of Amazon. You'll survive.

These are people who ran on false pretexts such as "family values," "working class ideals," and "law and order." I don't feel sorry for you if you're just finding this out. You voted for it.

Bravo, Lionel :)

I won’t scold about adding Alt Text to every picture because I was scolded when I forgot one time & it felt shitty & made me sad. Instead I’ll encourage & remind you to add Alt Text to every pic because it feels great to be inclusive & your posts will get shared more! Brief descriptions are great.

One of the most crucial lessons I've learned from art is how to detect and decipher propaganda.

I wonder how this is going to go...

Such a familiar scene in San Antonio.

Every now and then a musician comes along and I become enamored with every single thing they create. Ginger Root aka Cameron Lew is an example. I've seen so many KEXP performances and this one is the best www.youtube.com/watch?v=smXd...

There's absolutely no good reason for measles to be rampant and unchecked in 2025. The epidemic of stupidity is a real public health crisis.

I forgot all about the ThighMaster, Buns of Steel, SnackWells & the wildly manipulative "health and wellness" culture of the 1990s. Stephanie H. Shih’s recent exhibition of mundane objects from that era brought back so many memories artfullyexercising.substack.com/p/malleable-...

Sly Stone appreciation post.

Another take on a name:

Trump & the GOP's "Gulf of America" and "Red White and Blueland" banter is “Freedom Fries” 2.0, except a whole lot more idiotic!

The largest mass extinction of life on Earth happened among the non-avian dinosaurs. Birds, who evolved from theropod dinosaurs (aka the survivors), are currently facing a grave threat in the form of H5N1. The biggest mass mortality events in human history have been zoonotic plagues. Just sayin'

The tracks in the image show a hopping pattern, which is typical of many small birds.

They’ll never sell me a single ounce of soda, but Mountain Dew has won my heart. That ad was the Seal’s kiss!

Oi vey, it's a winner.

Pea protein in coffee tastes and is much better than milk/dairy analogue.

I got so hopped up on endorphins that I shoveled two of my neighbors’ walkways in addition to mine last night...
