Brainstorming footnote icons for a video essay! Struggling to come up with a good one for “see more” (i.e. see footnotes for more info” There probably isn’t a need to specify article or book, but I wonder about a system of differentiating whether you’re quoting, paraphrasing, or referencing.

I think my overall thoughts about the Switch 2 are that I just feel priced out. Games will be near $100 (CAD), there's no support for all the joycons we had to buy for multiplayer and joycon drift, old SD cards and microSD cards won't be compatible...

Almost all of my hype for the Nintendo Switch 2 comes exclusively from 3rd party games. It feels like such a reversal to the original Switch launch whose hype was carried by its hardware and Breath of the Wild.

Finding out that I can't use my PS4 as a Blu-Ray player to watch a film on my PC (through a capture card) feels like a joke. I would never commit a legal crime ever, but, how do anti-consumer measures like this fail to do anything but push people towards piracy.

Can someone explain to me why exporting a PDF in photoshop takes 30 minutes, but only 10 seconds if I flatten everything. I had the settings for preserving layer information, and editing ability, both turned off.

If I had a dollar every time I avoided a research project for months out of anxiety, only to start it, realize that I absolutely love what I'm doing and deeply yearn for more time, only to have to rush an incomplete vision... I'd have the few thousand dollars I need to afford grad school.
