As we prepare for yet another round of tax cuts for billionaires, keep this in mind: Matthew Desmond (author of Poverty, by America), showed that extreme poverty in the US could be eliminated with the $175 billion in tax evasion money we fail to collect from the top 1%.

Those who suggest that victims of vaccine preventable diseases are deserving of it will be insta-blocked. Most cases are children. And both kids and adults could be unvaccinated because of lack of access, misinformation, contraindications. Public health is not about leaving anyone behind.

Anyone who has lived abroad will tell you this. The USPS is a national treasure. People cross our north and south borders to mail things with the USPS. The only comparable post office in my experience is the Vatican Post office, and they do much less volume.

Not having to pay taxes on making $1 billion is an ENTITLEMENT. Getting Medicare and Social Security that you initially paid in for is an EARNED BENEFIT.
