I got to interview Elena de Roo for @thesaplingnz and she was so wonderful and easy to talk to that I accidentally didn’t pay for my iced mocha at the end and now every time I read the interview that’s all I can think about 🤦‍♀️😅

OK, #PBParty entry done. Such a difference to last year, where I spent hours revising, writing queries, doing ranking activities… This year I submitted a MS that‘a been sitting around since last year, because it came #2 in my ranking party 🤣 Way less stress this time round!

Posted a poem on a Facebook page for teachers today and had an overwhelming response 😱 Three hundred email address copy-and-pastes later 😅 and I’ve sent out a PDF of the poem to teachers across the country. What a privilege to have my words invited into all those classrooms 💕

It’s not technically #ThingsWithFaces but I saw a suggestion to put googly eyes on capsicum halves and essentially what I’ve discovered is that I now have a permanent need to have googly eyes on hand in the kitchen.
