Finished this book last night, was surprised how much I liked it. I picked it up because it's one of my favorite sub genres: a small group of people trapped in a very cold place & there are spooky goings on.

I was looking forward to Dr Who. I was prepared to forgive the sh*t that was served up last year, and give it another chance. And then it decides to kill a cat in the name of entertainment. This show can just f*ck off as far as I'm concerned. I'll return when the grown-up's are back in charge.

Today's delivery. Reviews were unfavourable for this much delayed remake of Stephen King's novel. Rumours of an extended Director's Cut in the near-ish future, but the response to this was so poor I doubt if they'll bother with it
