Welcome to the United States of Russia. www.theatlantic.com/technology/a...

This is the type of sh*t that many states have been trying to undo (cronyism, nepotism, political hiring) to better serve the public and provide equal opportunity hiring. The fact that this is happening should have the general public up in arms. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

DOGE’s expenses have risen above 40 million, with weekly costs now exceeding 10 million. We will release an updated DOGE staff list soon.

At what point do leaders in the GOP band together (since they seem to lack courage individually) & say enough is enough? The party of Reagan becomes the tool of Putin if they don’t, especially after last night.

That’s rich coming from someone who sucks up to someone whose every word is a lie.

Important 🧵: Stanford political scientist uses data to show DOGE is attacking “liberal” agencies, not focusing on waste & inefficiency: “The hardest hit agencies are those that regulate industry, protect public health, and expand access to education.”

Here we go. How long before Americans trying to save democracy end up in foreign prisons?

No one should be surprised. But it’s still appalling.

The message is clear. The Trump WH thinks democracy is a joke.

Hope you already filed. Shit’s about to hit the fan at yet another citizen-facing agency.

If you ever watched frontier-based shows and thought it looked adventurous and cool. Sit tight. You may just get to experience their trials and tribulations.

How many ways will the regime take down national security programs?

Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage.

Yep. It’s not just irony it’s hypocrisy.

So, are we putting together our own axis of evil or joining an existing one? Asking for a friend. 🍌🐘

One more democracy making us look utterly pathetic.

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet. They are vital members of our community. They make our government actually work for people. Remember this.

If what you’re doing is completely legal, why lie to the courts about it?

Ladies, this is the biggest assault since, well, I don’t even know. Make your voices heard.

Revenge against people upholding their oath appears to be way more important than the integrity and security of our country. But hey, who’s watching?

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game. The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

Hope you didn’t have National Parks on your bucket list. They’re axing them to get more money for the billionaires.

Sure. No way we could’ve predicted violent criminal seditionists behaving badly bsky.app/profile/joyc...

DOGE's chaos isn't preventing waste — it's causing it. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Connect the dots... -Tech barons express interest in launching financial transaction apps -Trump's company announces it will sell a crypto fund -Trump shutters the CFPB, which recently proposed supervising payment apps the same way as banks Pure corruption.

Since red states are willing to suck up the chaos, and good employees are being axed anyways, we can always choke off the funding of dictator Musk by stopping the flow of $$ to the feds. Either way, we’re all in for a world of sh*t. www.businessinsider.com/federal-taxe...

A call to all attorneys to uphold their oath to the Constitution and the rule of law. I reaffirm my oath, what say you? www.americanbar.org/news/abanews...

I think too many Republicans missed out on Schoolhouse Rock, and apparently got really low grades in Con Law. 1. Legislative branch makes laws 2. Judícial interprets 3. Executive carries them out. Not rocket science, pretty straightforward. Doesn’t work unless everyone does their job legally.

I was in the middle of protesting the game when Philly intercepted twice in a row and I had to turn it on. I feel like Philly is playing for all of us today. Telling us what we need to do.

Another American institution that’s about to be sh*t on and burned down. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

Crucial SF-50 forms, detailing job titles, salaries, and Social Security numbers, have disappeared from a federal database managed by the Office of Personnel Management.

Of course they want to mess with elections.
