Getting a lot of "he's a Russian puppet" in response to this which is the opposite of my point. He does not need to be manipulated by anyone else to do the cynical thing because he thinks Russia is right to bully Ukraine, just as he was right to bully Ukraine. He's consistent on bullying as virtue.
