Also Try Bert Jansch

is Sean Bean okay? he's been in some terrible films lately. does he need more money

you guys know that you can have your life changed (and your social rep increased) by listening to one of the greatest Folk albums ever made and it only takes 28 MINUTES???

last year i watched just over 100 films, and in the first two months of 2025 i've watched fifty-four. i love watching films

Ramblin' Man by Lemon Jelly is one of the most "me" songs there is. i love it so much

that classic trope of three guys in uniform walking around a corner, you hear them get beat up, and then three other guys walk back around dressed like them. except THEY walk around a corner and get beat up as well. and then three MORE guys walk out in those clothes, and the chain just goes on

anyone have an idea why We're Going To Ibiza! by Vengaboys makes me overwhelmingly sad. what was that about

Mickey Rourke used to look like THAT ?? i had no idea he was so handsome what

it'll be interesting considering the changes within the band, but in truth i'm absolutely ecstatic for this album. and it's 100% to do with the painting used for the album cover. one of my favourite paintings of all time

any time a company tells me they're "grateful for your continued support and understanding" when they're doing me wrong? deciding how i'm going to feel about their mistreatments? fury beyond belief

hooly shit Dance Yrself Clean by LCD Soundsystem

there has got to be a better way of transferring soup from a pan to a bowl than dropping it from a great height sloppy style

The Cardigans' cover of Iron Man stands as one of my favourite covers of all time. what a fantastic shift in tone that still works tremendously well

i struggle so hard to see the pleasure derived from Jacob Collier and Lawrence-esque music. it's so.. squeaky clean. you can give me the most technically proficient cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water, but you'll never evoke the same striking, broken reverence.

looking back, 2023 was a MASSIVE year for my cinema experiences. got my life changed by Spiderverse, had the best time with my friends (and as a society) for Barbenheimer, and watched The Boy and The Heron on one of the biggest screens i've ever seen. AND i fell asleep to Samsara! massive!

hard to name a favourite off Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, but Protect My Energy has been really connecting with me recently

Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey is such a lovely, quirky song. Paul McCartney had such fantastic creativity

so cool how music has always been a part of protest and politics. just heard a live recording of Elton John playing Back in the USSR in Moscow, 1979 after being told he couldn't. the crowd went nuts.

Glad to see Jamie xx's album find its way on here, but no Magdalena Bay? while Fontaines D.C.'s album gets a placement? Romance was just alright, Imaginal Disk was mind-blowing.

my Discover Weekly is fucked. i bump Imaginal Disk and Currents all year and in return it tells me to listen to Brand New Key by Melanie

i think that Jack Johnson shouldn't be lumped in with bands like Train or Imagine Dragons. i think he's just a guy and his legacy is Curious George and surfing. not Tesco music dove soap advertisement

Daft Punk have such an incredible catalogue man. how could anyone hear One More Time and not get out of their chair

André 3000 was awesome on Nardwuar's interview. super calm, content, and invested in the conversation. he must be cool

Protecting My Energy by Little Simz, what a gem of a track from what i'm sure will be a timeless album

That whistling sound of something big falling a long distance but it just keeps going and going so you're sat there in dread wondering when whatever's dropping is going to land. but it just keeps whistling at a lower and lower pitch

six most recent albums i've listened to for the first time, start -> finish.

do the americans know of the best christmas song Stop The Cavalry?

much love! [ #music #spotifywrapped ]

So we all agree that Spotify Wrapped finally had a cool aesthetic this year right

My wrapped!

The Durutti Column's Future Perfect is so ethereal. it makes me feel something i can't quite realise

Isn't it brilliant that so many creative people can have access to the tools they need. the gigs i'd never get to, the friends i'd never make were that not the case. we're truly blessed

it is utterly insane that Daft Punk made a song like Around The World, which only says three words over and over for seven minutes, and it's one of the most enjoyable songs i've ever heard

Break It To Me Gently by Brenda Lee is such a classic song. if i were to make a film, i'd find a way to write a scene to it

It's so easy to see why David Tennant is the most popular doctor. in the shows best years, he was such a charismatic, powerful person, and he loved that role. you can tell with every performance. I've just finished his last episode and it is so heartbreaking.

the music composed for the 9th Doctor in Doctor Who is so haunting, so mysterious. every time "The Doctor's Theme" came on, kid me was HOOKED. and i still am

i've been watching a lot of NorthernLion recently and he says things like "that's good. we're all human beings. or maybe it's bad. i don't know."

you tell me that The Dark Side Of The Moon is overrated, i will not listen to you !!! im blasting Us And Them bitch !!!
