"A Midsummer Night's Dream", gouache on cardboard. A friend who ran a charity shop in Cambridge wanted a window display for the Shakespeare week so I painted this (around 20 yrs ago). She said it was bought by a chef from nearby Downing College (probably fallen to bits since then) #Shakespeare #art

This oil on canvas shows Rose Crescent in Cambridge. It was bought by one of my oldest friends from my year at Winchester Art School in the '60s who died in 2022. His effects were sorted out by his nephew-in-law who I believe took this one back to Finland. #art #fineart #oilpainting

I did this pastel on a sketching trip to Toft in Cambridgeshire 10 years ago. I didn't at the time know what this glorious building was but found out later it is called Manor Cottage. I put the pastel into a CDS exhibition and it sold to the person who lived there. #art #fineart #pastel #enpleinair

This is my pastel showing Market Passage in Ely with the cathedral looming up in the distance. We are frequent visitors to this Fen city, usually taking a train ride which can be as short as 15 minutes. It is now on someone's wall just down the road. #art #fineart #pastel #Ely
