Good article on history in National Geographic this month. This is why history is important to learn so you “don’t repeat mistakes that are deadly or self-destructive.” Today is a prime example of that syllogism. Doing things significant despite knowing it will hurt you.

Up late with Mom and her ancillary problems from Alzheimer’s & Dementia. Progressed dysphagia now-my thumbs are raw in spots from twisting a pill crusher, so bought an electric crusher—who knew they existed? She was breathing loudly at 45 breaths a minute tonight at 11 pm w/Oxy saturation ..1)

It’s great to get wealthier upon the backs of others apparently as they chuckle amongst themselves. That’s why he said you have to trust him. It wasn’t for our retirements—it was for insider trading trick to get richER. Feeding the poor is evil and wasteful, but hurting other’s lives is great?

“He made 2.5 million today and he made $900 million. That’s not bad.” Sounds like market manipulation to me. That’s bad.

You know it’s time to sleep when you blink while playing solitaire and wake up and four minutes as passed. It’s fall asleep time! Yeah!!

MSNBC's egregious decision to fire Joy Reid has given us the gift of her newsletter. This one, on the Roberts court, is exceptional: "All of us are going to suffer for the egregious mistake of returning a felonious monster to the White House." #MomSky open.substack.com/pub/joyannre...

because you asked nicely, here’s my latest work in progress song, “context clues”

I still can’t figure out when “we can deport you” turned into “we can put you in a hell hole prison in a third country, indefinitely, with no legal recourse.”

Meanwhile, when reporters last week visited Hope Florida's headquarters to review its IRS documents, an employee told them the request “will be returned in the order it was received” and shooed them away, despite federal law requiring such documents be available immediately upon in-person request.

Thug-ocracy in action. Executive Privilege 101 says (a) that the President himself must assert it, and (b) it cannot be used to shield misconduct. Easy stuff these “top lawyers” seem to have missed.

Both of these explains why limited truth coming out.

Spent all day with my Mom for my birthday. Son sent stunning flowers—hubby perfume. She didn’t remember it was my birthday-it’s okay. Made a chocolate/brownie cake for the occasion and still haven’t eaten it—too tired taking care of Mom who has aspirated fluid in her lungs. She’s my best gift.
