Celebrated my birthday at a brewery last night. Heard compliments from the bar tender that our group was awesome and they appreciated us cleaning up and taking glasses back to the bar. Such a good compliment that my friends are all nicer than expected to bartenders.

Learn to communicate directly. Stop with the hints and the passive aggression. If you need something, ask for it. If there is a conflict between you and a friend/loved one, talk through it honestly with them. If there is a problem, bring it up.
