Listen, we’re not about to pretend that “reverse racism” is anything, but shit, when you are a proud East Side SJ kid, and the dude asks “so just a plastic fork?” while getting your Asian takeout… that hurts. That cuts deep. (I still tipped him 25%, I’m not an animal, but… OUCH)

Truth

My favorite adjacent joke is saying that my favorite book is a Courtney of Thorne and Smith.

My wife and I both went to college. And we stopped believing in Santa before middle school. So we got our kid’s vaccine boosters today.

And see, in a functioning democracy, lawmakers from the 4-5 states listed in the article could then vote with Democrats to stop these actions, and a compromise would be found. In a functioning democracy…

This is my kind of chaos…

#Hockey fans and especially my fellow #Sharks lifers should have some fun with the @nytimes.com #Strands this morning. #TheFutureisTeal #BleedTeal

What a perfect comic. The art, the back matter, the pathos, start to finish. My only issue with its translation into the MCU is that not seeing Steve’s realization blunts that emotional punch. Would have loved to see Evans and Lumbly on it.

Capitalism: Proudly turning the world into the very hellhole Americans think Socialism would create.

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

Really enjoyed Captain America: Brave New World. Very much an espionage thriller like The Winter Soldier, but did its own thing. It built nicely on the stories of Sam and Isaiah Bradley. Huge credit to Harrison Ford, who was excellent and brought more depth to the character than any Red Hulk comics.

A lot of reviews of Captain America are full of shit. That was a fun, rewatchable movie with solid action and acting. Loved Joaquin as Falcon and that cameo from the that one… let’s say, “D-List,” hero. More 👇

The "strange spectacle of Christians against empathy," is not some new invention pertaining to immigrants. It was there during the AIDS crisis, it's been felt by every queer kid in this country for decades, and it came down hard on brown people after 9/11.

My high school newspaper students are having a post-deadline potluck and it has descended into Smash or Pass: #Pokemon

Brianna Keilar: Do you think that calling Elon Musk a dick is effective messaging? Congressman Robert Garcia: Well, he is a dick.

So we’re all seeing this massive flood of ads (most of them MAGA-adjacent) on IG right? In the last week it’s just exploded, every second or third post or video is some sort of prayer app or Trump coin.

Harrison Butker hasn't kicked a single field goal or extra point tonight, maybe he should go make his wife a sandwich

God must really hate Patrick Mahomes & Harrison Butker. I wonder what they’ve been up to this past year that angered him? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Quoth the Kite-Man: Hell Yeah!

Watching “Temple of Doom.” Wife: Why are they trying to get the stones together?” (Side note: Let’s be honest, it’s the least clear MacGuffin in the series) Me: “To rise up? I guess to throw off the British?” Wife: Oh… Me: Oh…

This is one of the absolute best setup-punchline turns in comedy history. It’s the kind of line that comedians tell stories about for all time. “And what did they name that movie?” “The Aristocrats.”

AND he’s a comic book fan. I love Rep. Garcia so much.

One of my sophomores asked “Who is this that thinks they’re Michael Buble?” to NINA SIMONE. And now I suddenly want corporal punishment returned to school.
