One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Start showing voters what a Democratic government would look like--press conferences, speeches, all of it.

They hurt like they are ten feet long. My horse stepped on my foot and my little toe was hanging out of my sneaker like they would at the end of the summer and my toe was snapped right off. I rushed into the house and stuffed my foot into the boot I was supposed to be wearing!

I remain fascinated by the expanded child tax credit case study & the implications for leftist policymaking. People received REAL financial benefit from it. It drastically cut child poverty rates and it was rescinded without a real fight. I think about this at least once a week.
