Been replaying Bioshock. I remember the shooting being pretty bad, even on release, so I wasn't sure if I was gonna stick with it, but MAN, the writing and world design are still ENTHRALLING even now. Lots to nitpick, but it really deserves its reputation as an all-time classic of the medium.

Played with PS3 emulation yesterday for my PC. Worked fairly well. I still have a PS3, but it might be cooked, and I've had 2 other PS3s fail over the years. I kind of hate that gen's hardware for this, it's so unreliable, so I'm glad there's at least a backup option here for that era's games.

GODDAMMIT, can I get a fucking W in 2025? Suddenly developed an allergic reaction last night, so my lips are swelled to hell, despite zero history of allergies in my life. At the hospital now since like 6:30am and just had to get a needle (my biggest irrational phobia). 😭

Been a while since I've had any updates (being sick with the flu for a full week does that), but I've finally finished a wrecked tank for some LOS-blocking terrain for no man's land. Pretty happy with how it turned out! Probably gonna work on some Heretic Legion next.

The idea that story-driven games aren’t replayable is so strange to me. I eventually bounce off every multiplayer game because I get bored, but I go back to story games again and again just like rewatching a favorite movie, or to experience something new

So, like, I've still got the flu, but I think the worst of it is now over, thank God. That was one of the most prolonged viruses I've ever had. Should be able to go back to work (from home) and, with another couple days of rest, hopefully be well enough to get back into my normal life and interests.

Day 4 of this flu. Getting fucking ridiculous how prolonged this thing has been. Still can't really do much more than rest, try to eat, and try to keep the household intact until I can recover. I guess this'll have to do for now.

Going on day 3 with this unbearable flu. Have been awake since 2am. I just want to get better so I can take care of my family, get some fucking groceries, and get back to playing NG2B. All the Trump shit sure as hell ain't helping either, but at least we won a reprieve for now.
