3/4 Prolonged grief is considered a normal reality, where the grief is always felt intensely.
The idea of bereavement support outside of the family circle is new, as is the hope that we can learn to carry grief in a way that is not overwhelming.

The family grieves together and support is given at the funeral and 9 days, 40 days and 1 year after the death.
