A senior engineer challenged me on my code today. The premise was all wrong. I tried explaining; they pushed back. I pointed to the relevant man page. Turns out, they fed my code into an LLM, asked it to explain, and it was very misleading. LLMs are putting brains on autopilot. Read the fine manual.
