I only drink warm water because fuck ICE

I need to catch my breath and take a day away from politics, so here’s my #dunebuggy all cleaned up.

Waiting for abc news to hire Jesse Welles to tell us what’s going on in the world. youtu.be/_c-vn5zTDqo?...

2 things I love: 1. watching Dave Rubin demonstrate how dumb he is and 2. Hearing people talk about income inequality. But we have to keep control of the conversation. A 90% tax rate isnt about giving the government more money, its about giving employees more of the profits youtu.be/cUSFGSo86qA?...

8. A high top tier tax rate will have the double impact of better pay and benefits for the working class and a reduction in need for government benefits. Stop falling for the straw-man. None of us want the government to have more money.

7. The government wont need to fund Medicaid when companies are investing in employee health programs again. The government wont need to worry about social security when companies are creating employee pension plans again.

6. and benefits. No board of directors would opt for 90% of their profits to go to the government. THIS is how wealth gets redistributed to the working class. Not by the government giving money to the poor and middle class via taxation. THIS is how government spending gets reduced.

5. Either they pay the top tier an income that gets them to the top tax bracket, where 90% of that pay will go to the government, or the top earners of the company max out their income at the 90% rate and the rest of the company profits are distributed to the rest of the company in the form of pay

4. The conversation needs to be that “we” don’t want the government to have more money either. We want the workers to have more money. If we raise personal income taxes to the pre-1955 levels, bosses and boards will have a choice to make.

3. We get sucked into a conversation about government inefficiency, which is exactly the conversation “they” want us to have. Of course nobody wants the government to have more money, and “we” should t either.
