"Your hands are considered part of the bat....". Ugh.... I'd like to blame it on it only being Spring Training for the broadcasters, but the truth is most of them have no idea what the rules are.

Jim Rice was not only a great player, but also a great human being and teammate. From his work with the Jimmy Fund and inner city youth, to rushing into the the stands to help a boy hit by a line drive, and carrying him into the clubhouse for help. Here he carries Remy off the field after an injury.

Jays had 13 Tuesday home games which were the $1 dog nights (I think). Total attendance at these games was 400,940. This means the average fan ate less than 2 hot dogs each night. This seems like a very disappointing result.
