😃 "Do You Hear the People Sing" was a popular choice among protestors during Hong Kong's extradition bill protests in 2019. folklife.si.edu/magazine/pro...

Watching Bubblegum Crisis for the first time, and this scene at the beginning of episode six has me feeling attacked like I haven't felt since 24 was the hot thing on TV.

During my first job out of college, I got to spend a day at the Tribune Publishing Center — I didn't tour the building, but I worked around the printing presses, and it was an impressively huge operation. Had no idea it closed down to make a casino (😠🤬), but I'm glad its archives were saved.

No distinct mist-covered landmarks from me since my trip to the Peak was fairly clear, but looking back at my photos from the ferry heading to Kowloon side, it was a pretty cloudy/foggy day (thankfully, as it was miserably hot and humid that week).

China and Taiwan really get the neat, classy-looking theatrical posters from Ghibli. I like the scientific/technical feel between the Ohm drawn like a biology textbook illustration and the graph paper background like an architectural drawing. Nausicaä's glider even looks like a scalpel.
