#omen #film #nikon #camera Watched the first Omen film last night, been a while! Not bad really for it's day. David Warner played the photographer, I believe he was using a Nikon F2? I'm not an expert on Nikon. Looking out for older cameras in more movies. 😀

#lumix #superzoom #camera One of the earlier cameras I had, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5. For it's day it was alright for a superzoom, whopping 5 megapixels, huge 1.8" LCD (at the time). Had one for a few years before I moved to DSLR land.

#olympus #micro4/3 #omd #photography Tried out the OM-1 Olympus/OMD camera and 40-150mm F2.8. Nicely made camera and lens, feels solid. Not sure Micro 4/3 is the right fit for me, but I hope to look at some products on the channel later on.

#nikon #z6 #zmount #nikonz Here's the list of changes from the Nikon Z6 to the Z6 II mirrorless cameras. There are quite a few, so I listed them out and they feature in my Z6 v Z6 II video. Some are useful but minor, the EVF's are quite different despite the same spec.

#minolta #beercan #portrait Here's a shot from the well love Minolta 70-210mm F4 (beercan), it's not a perfect lens by any means, but it's quite the bargain and has nice rendering at the tele end. Still popular to this day!

#ricoh #griv #compact Be careful what you wish for! The GR III is expensive, and if there is a IV version, it will probably be even higher cost. There is no point really, you can buy a small MILC camera and small prime for less, and you can clean the sensor easily. petapixel.com/2025/02/16/j...

#sonyalpha #dslr #retro Hope to have the Sony A700 review done this week, now editing the video. People are still into the older cameras, they're fun to use (despite being dated), and in many cases capable enough. Bonus being the low cost too.
