Who is the Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces, it's the President of course. In Trump's playbook for becoming a dictator, he has at least half of the points covered. He has a cult of followers, he uses fear and intimidation on his opposition, and he controls the military.

Watch his feet, not his mouth. Pay zero attention to what he says, only what he does. Actions speak louder than words. Follow the trajectory, where he's going can be predicted from where he's been. You run from an avalanche when you hear the rumblings not when the rocks are about to smash.
