Ladies, we've found the worst asshole in the universe.

Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in MLB was MLB's greatest moment. Erasing that legacy today, in this moment, is an embarrassment. In 1947 the Dodgers, Branch Rickey and Jackie led this country in the best of ways. I would like to see MLB strive to match that energy here in 2025.

Man, I really need everyone censoring themselves on Jackie Robinson Day to take a step back, remind themselves what Jackie did and step the fuck up as loudly as they've ever imagined they could.

This was a fun conversation with the amazing guys from Wrigleyville Nation. Y'all will LOVE my former Cub at the end -- true fan favorite.

Matt Shaw heading to Triple-A 👀 Cam Smith starting for the Astros tonight 🔥

In 1997 I created the official logo for the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s historic debut. 25 years later, I collaborated with my dear friend and colleague Britt Davis on the official logo for the 75th. Jackie’s legacy is eternal, a day to celebrate and remember #jackierobinsonday

Every elected Democrat who can go with him should go.

The largest paying crowd in the history of Wrigley Field was the day Jackie Robinson made his debut. Wrigley is the only park left Jackie played a game in. Mike Ryoko was a kid at that ballpark that day and he wrote about it. Take a minute and read this today. press.uchicago.edu/Misc/Chicago...

also hilarious that his unedited solo blog posts are straight up better prose without some schmuck NYT editor making them more pretentious and turgid

The greatest thing on the internet today

Dylan Cease might be the exception to the every man looks better with a beard rule 👀🔥

Hey, did you know there's an alternative to ChatGPT that makes sense economically and doesn't destroy the environment? It's called English majors and they will happily fix all of your documents for the low price of health insurance and a living wage.

This, from the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

This is so true.

We live in an episode of Veep.

Fun conversation with @cubspsplus.bsky.social -- we'll check back in later this season to see if our tweaks were good ideas or bad ones! And yes, I obvi kept the Tucker trade :P
