So planning on calling this exploration and survival game Fly You Fools. But I think I need some type of stress mechanic. I want to add safe rooms that the meta currency can help you get to, but I think stress would help encourage continuing exploration/limit cheesing safe rooms

Hey! I just posted a new Psionic Adept Monk subclass for Tales of the Valiant and 5e over on my Patreon! You should join for that and tons more content! #ttrpg #TalesOfTheValiant #dnd #5EFeed www.patreon.com/posts/122727...

So I prefer dice pools over jenga towers because I find that it usually gives a growing feeling of dread and inevitability as the pool dwindles. Block towers are always sudden. Sure there is fear, but then either immediate relief or sorrow. Dice pools linger. Almost every roll is a loss

Thanks to the good folks over at @abyssalbrews.com I’ve had a game idea stuck in my head for two days. Or at least an SRD. it’s a sneak and run concept. For the sneak, I’m thinking either jenga tower or dice pool where you remove ones. Map divided in sections where each section affects how many

This year's Solo But Not Alone bundle is going strong! If you love singleplayer TTRPGs, or even if you're just curious about them, this bundle is a treasure trove for a $10 donation! itch.io/b/2865/solo-...

Last night was fun. The party was asked to steal enough gold from the dragon, it would lose some power. Instead, they caused a ruckus and the dragon woke up and killed two of the characters. Rogue bullshit is the only reason I didn’t get three

We are going live in just a few minutes. The stream is already up and the heist will be on shortly. Again, this is to help support Doctors Without Borders with a little #dnd and #ttrpg fun Twitch.tv/aclawrence24

I will be running a one shot for this starting at 10 est/9 central Come join us, follow along as our players attempt to steal from a dragon, and help support Doctors Without Borders

Listening to a TikToker talking about how culture and purity are diametrically opposed as culture is messy, rubbing up against others to create a new fusion. And one) that is a beautiful description and two) feels like a fun idea to play with for the #tittyrpgjam

When I played football in high school, our D line coach always told us to run the other team to the sideline. They might gain a yard, but they ran 15 to do it. It’s not sustainable to play like that. So run em sideline to sideline.

My latest game, The Cog That Remains, in this one! Solo But Not Alone is an always-great deal (it's $10 for 107 games never before seen in a SBNA Bundle) for an always-great cause (mental health matters)!

For the day crew. I should really plan my skeets better and not just blast em out in the middle of the night 😅

So this has been on my mind for a while. The gist is a dnd one shot that is printed on the gm screen and includes thin minis, dice towers, storage boxes, and scatter terrain. The one shot would have the adventure, some NPCs, and faction information.

if we staff ICE with Uvalde police officers, they'll never enter schools

Kinda want to do some writing. Kinda want to design an adventure in a box. Kinda want to just go to sleep and escape the burdens of creation 😅

YOUR GONNA TELL ME THIS HAD TO BE A MEETING BRO? THIS HAD TO BE MEETING?! YOU HAVE JUST REPEATED WHATS IN THE EMAIL GROW UP BRO! GROW. UP.

You know the problem with using exploding dice? Figuring out probabilities for random tables. Like the d4 table has a 25% chance to explode which means 25% of the time, 5 is the most common roll but you can never roll an 8 cause the 4s would explode…just like my brain trying to work this out 😅

Time for another episode of Errant Adventures! This week, Sejana embarks on a dangerous mission aboard a deep space mineral refinery. Success means freedom for her crew, failure is not an option.

…. …. …. I mean from a vibes perspective, this is one of the best definitions I’ve seen

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end….annoying that such a motivating and ttrpg appropriate quote comes from the song Closing Time 🤣

All art is political. Ttrpgs, at least as I play them, are collaborative storytelling. Storytelling is art, and the creation of the monsters, villains, and situations is both art and craft. Ttrpgs are political.

Hell yeah. A bunch of great games in here and a wonderful way to get into our expand your #solottrpg journey

Felt good to DM again, even if I had to rush the ending.
