This is so bad it's funny. Or would be if it weren't symptomatic of the world crashing and burning. The original story (which is posted by someone as a reply), is funny in its own right. "France is Bacon" has become a catchphrase in our household.

Some good news: A junior colleague who was struggling 6 months ago is now thriving! To absolutely no one's surprise (except possibly hers, imposter syndrome sucks) she wasn't struggling because she was stupid or incompetent, but because she needed a bit of support and some opportunities to grow.
