I’ve spent some days this week building sets for a high school theater-a magnet school for performance arts. It’s literally everything I ever wanted at that age. And yeah, part of me is jealous but also I hope these kids have the best show ever. I want people to have things I couldn’t.

Language matters. Trump’s immigration policy is not targeting criminals, it is racial profiling. Guantanamo will not be a detention facility, it will be a concentration camp. Migrants will not be detained, people will be interned. Mainstream media will get this wrong. We need to get it right.
