Y’all remember when Reagan removed solar panels from the White House, right?

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

Bullshit. I call bullshit. There are no health benefits to having a disease that has the potential to cause blindness, brain damage and even death. Get your vaccines.

Trumpers losing their jobs without cause realizing two things. 1. Trump/Musk never cared about them. Their loyalty meant nothing. 2. If Harris won, they would still have their job.

If you thought it wasn’t possible—well, here we are. Musk pulled $80 million in funding authorized by Congress straight from NYC’s bank account. The federal government took the funds and called it a “clawback” of taxpayer money. A lot of others would simply call it stealing.

I am tired. It’s probs my depression, too, but I just want to crawl into a cozy spot with a book and pretend the problems of the world don’t exist for awhile. Anyway. My birthday is next month. I just need to get through GS cookie season and see some more sunshine. Maybe hug a friend in person.

Our team reviewed the entire DOGE website. Nothing they have identified constitutes evidence of fraud or corruption—both of which are crimes. Feel free to audit us. The funds were allotted by Congress, and OIGs regularly reviewed expenditures for fraud.

Have you washed your water bottle this year? No? This is a good weekend to drop a couple of denture tablets into it and let it become clean.

We have jobs, Robert.

It's called The Gulf of Mexico. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

My university has a grant to provide scholarships, mentoring, research opportunities & career support to academically talented low-income students in STEM. It’s a really fantastic & successful program. Today Ted Cruz flagged it to be cut because it’s "advanced neo-Marxist class warfare propaganda.”

my view is that as soon as the administration froze disbursement of congressional appropriations we entered constitutional crisis territory

Project 2025 was unpopular because of things like the plan for Trump to shut down the CFPB, which helps you get your money back if a bank cheats you.

I don’t know when it will happen but the government mass reneging on contracts is going to tank the economy

Congressperson John Lewis, whose ‘good trouble’ they love to quote so much, was arrested 45 times in his life. The last was in 2013 protesting for immigrants, during the Obama presidency.
