I’m so angry that I’m now reminded of other things in my life that really made me angry and now I’m stuffed with a lifetime of anger. 👍

Trump wants you to forget that he gutted the Aviation Safety Committee and ousted the FAA administrator during his first week in office. Don’t forget.

I used to laugh at the "I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread" Bilbo line, but boy do I get it now

Not to brag but, for Valentine’s Day my boyfriend got me all the expansion packs for 7 wonders + the ones for duel, and the organizers for the boxes so you can keep all the expansion packs together in one box. I fcking love this man! 💕

look, you just need to care about others.

Skepticism towards workplace democracy is normal. People are accustomed to top-down hierarchies with limited worker participation. But skepticism often marks the beginning of great ideas. Political democracy was initially met with great resistance. And then it changed the world.

The United Nations proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives to promote the development of cooperatives worldwide. Cooperatives are 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯 to advance environmentalism, sustainability, and democracy across the planet for a more inclusive and equitable society. #IYC2025 2025.coop

We're living George Orwell's 1984: IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

If you can read this, I just want you to be happy, safe, and free from need.

You’ll always have to worry about those in power, because everyone is corruptible. We are human beings and we are failable, we need to strive toward a life of ease for all so we may better engage in our political systems. Not strive toward ignorance to the systems.

I truly believe the key to all this mess is to start with building up local employee owned businesses. Develop walkable communities and invest in social services. Community starts with knowing your neighbors.

This is awesome. From a custom knife forging shop in Edom, Texas.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world. Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

We don’t live in a vacuum, we are all living out the consequences of someone else’s actions. Then we have children and thrust upon them our legacy of passing the buck. Let’s come together to end that practice, take on the responsibility whether it’s ours or not and work to make the world better.

Do not prematurely comply or give into their attempts to control us. Take meaningful action within your community to support each other.

chng.it/y8MVqSLK4T I never know how much use this is in actually stopping things but I have to try.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. When interacting with ICE, you have rights guaranteed by the Constitution, no matter your immigration status. ⬇️

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025. There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.

the world they want is one where you're either unemployed or work an almost no wage job, you have almost no political input or self determination and you’re happy about it because you can get a t-shirt off temu for a $1

The Hegseth confirmation shows that Republican lawmakers have put party over country. They should be ashamed, but I doubt if they are.

Community is the antidote to despair. Happy to host! 🌹

Now more than ever we need to focus our local gov. on solutions for climate change. 15min city blocks, composting initiatives, real recycling programs, promoting small employee owned businesses, better and more prevalent public transport, bike lanes, supporting local craftspeople, and comm. gardens

When workers earn a living wage, they can lead a life free from constant struggle. The increase in purchasing power boosts business revenues, enabling companies to expand and hire more people to participate in the economy. This creates a positive cycle of growth that raises living standards for all.

The White House Financial Disclosure page has been WIPED. The U.S. Office of Government Ethics mandates public financial disclosures for high-level federal officials through the OGE Form 278e promoting transparency and ensuring compliance with the Ethics in Government Act of 1978. Probably my most controversial opinion is that even if someone is “choosing to be homeless” that doesn’t make it their fault they are homeless. Somehow society lacks the further thought of, what would lead someone to want to live like that? And what that may indicate of their lived experience.

The price of eggs in the US is spiking, mostly due to #H5N1 bird flu. Solving the problem requires urgent, important communications from the CDC & FDA* and rapid development of research by the NIH** * Currently paused by Executive Order ** Grant reviews now all canceled www.kcur.org/news/2025-01...

There was no such thing as the Roman salute. Say it again. Don’t let anyone manipulate you into believing you saw something you didn’t. It happened, and we need to be calling it out now before history repeats itself again. #romansalute #elonmusk #inauguration #history youtube.com/shorts/V5PT0...

The next time you hear about the stock market's success as an indicator of the overall economy, remember that 92.5% of U.S. households' stock market wealth is held by the top 10%, with the richest 1% owning 54%. The bottom 50% own just 1% of stock market wealth. inequality.org/article/stoc...

“Constantly regard the universe as one living being, having one substance and one soul, and observe how all things have reference to one perception and how all things act with one movement.” — Marcus Aurelius (Meditations, Book 4.40). Visuals by @venusianchron.bsky.social

Sagan was a prophet.

The goal is to overwhelm us so we give up. Don't do that!

"I must not fear, fear is the mind-killer" is a very useful mantra to mentally loop especially if you set it to a techno beat

This is how you do it...

DEI programs were created to give everyone who meet objective standards a fair shot at serving our country. Diversity has changed America for the BETTER. Rolling back these programs and offices with an executive order is completely disgraceful. www.cnn.com/2025/01/21/p...

It’s tough to find the right words, but I have spent all this time thinking and now I need to put pen to paper, so to speak. Our power structure may seem natural as it is pervasive and old but humans are naturally equitable. And we function better when we share power equally.

Surround yourself with love and immerse yourself in community.

The Resistance is strong! #Resist

In 2020, it became apparent that a lot of people had been asleep in science class. Well, in 2025, it’s become quite apparent that they slept through history class, too. #Resist

Democracy in our economy is the antibody against oligarchy. Rich men have the power to lay off thousands of workers, purchase politicians, and make decisions that affect you directly. Who elected them? Support labor unions, worker-owned businesses, and cooperatives to counter oligarchy.
