What if I told you that "cutting funding" and "cutting the deficit" are not the same thing? In fact, it's possible to cut funding SO MUCH that the debt INCREASES. That's because if the economy contracts, lost revenue could exceed the savings from cuts. That's why idiots shouldn't be in charge.
