I'm so used to bar bathrooms with cutesy signs that I had to stop here and ask myself if I was a Mario or a Wario

Love this

If you don’t subscribe and are part of the resistance you might want to follow and subscribe.

I lose a lot of sleep these days. But this horror contributes to the most. If we don’t shut this down we’re in a world of hurt.

Well yes, that would be fair. Will it happen? Who will arrest? That’s the issue. We all feel outrage. What can we do????

Eugenicists are so stupid.

And they could care less it seems www.theguardian.com/money/2025/a...

Elon is an idiot with no understanding of anything plus zero empathy

A good detailed read of the horror show… open.substack.com/pub/heatherc...

This is just incredible stupidity From our secretary of education www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...

Eighteen months before the midterms, the Republican National Committee is litigating more than 40 cases aimed at making voting more difficult. In North Carolina, the GOP is literally trying to steal a state Supreme Court seat won by a Democrat last November.

The GOP bill, a direct product of President Donald Trump’s decade-long obsession with illegal voting, would require documentary proof of citizenship for voter registration, bar states from counting late-arriving mail ballots, and dramatically infringe on states’ authority to run elections.

Just in case those of us fighting for democracy in court didn't need another challenge, Big Law turning collaborators is here and growing. My firm and others continue to fight. We will never back down. We will never bend a knee. We will never obey.

It’s hard to think of anything he’s done in his second term that’s *not* impeachable.

Welcome to the Resistance … {checks notes} … Holman Jenkins of the Wall Street Journal?

When Rubio announced the agreement with El Salvador in February he touted it as a way to outsourcing the federal prison system by allowing the US to send American citizen inmates there to serve their . This undercuts the Trump administration’s claim to the courts that it can’t get people back.

Great thread

My favorite of the questions… “7. What does Christ teach about how one should treat strangers and foreigners, and does the State Department endorse Christ’s teaching on this matter?”

Delusional. "I'm excited to announce that we anticipate savings in FY 26 from reduction of waste and fraud by $150 billion," Musk, seated at a table with Cabinet secretaries, told Trump. "And I mean, some of it is just absurd ‒ like people getting unemployment insurance who haven't been born yet."

Joke www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...

WTF?! This is just insanity. You can’t run a government this way. X isn’t an official government platform. No way I’d trust any information there. FFS

“CNN reported that behind the scenes, officials in the Trump Admin have been trying desperately to get Xi to make the first move and call Trump. As Trump waited and waited, China ignored them and simply responded by announcing reciprocal tariffs with no call.” open.substack.com/pub/meidasto...

It’s ok, they’ll let the farm workers stay for now and in the meantime deport any random legal brown or black citizen just to make their quota, just until we can get the protective child labor laws reversed, and then back to round up time.

If you feel like being inspired by a big law firm, here's the opening to Sussman Godfrey's lawsuit against Trump and his executive order targeting the firm. It still is amazing other firms caved quickly to Trump's mob-like and unconstitutional shakedown. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Ayep!

If you missed my live show with @davidnir.com today, here it is! Nir & Rupar: Dems shouldn’t hand it to Trump on tariffs

Ugh We have to hear him sputter shit like: “person woman man camera and tv” again, proving his genius All while knowing he’s an imbecile and no way this was even the right fucking answer

“The 2024 election wasn’t a restaurant where you could order cheaper eggs but politely ask for the server to hold the fascism. You’re still getting the fascism, and your eggs aren’t just overpriced now, they’re broken and rotten.” www.publicnotice.co/p/trump-tari...

Nice tracking…

New in PN: Yes, they voted for this "Perhaps the most damning commentary about the US electorate and media is that Trump never even tried to conceal his malicious intentions and deranged policy positions."

"I think we made the right decision" -- Tom Homan on the deportation of a Maryland dad to a gulag in El Salvador that the administration has already admitted was a mistake

At this point I find it hard to discern what part is diabolical voter suppression and what part is incompetency.

Friday night gin and tonic retweet: fuck Trump indeed.

Terrifying

3 days ago RFK Jr. told the CDC to stop recommending water fluoridation, claiming it was a neurotoxin (this is a lie). Turns out he also just eliminated the CDC’s entire Lead Program, and now lead poisoned children in Milwaukee are just on their own. Lead IS a neurotoxin and harms brain development

Speechless

“"If you're like, I'm trying to get pregnant, if I have a complication, I don't want to fall into some gray area about whether I'm going to be able to get life saving care," says Kennedy at the CRR. "I'm going to move to a place where I know I can get it."”

“One in five adults planning to have children in the next decade said they either have moved out of a red state, or know someone who has, because of abortion restrictions, per a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult and the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR).” www.axios.com/2025/03/14/a...
