This is a pretty cool tool that was posted on a Reddit thread. Very helpful and provides citations of sources. And yes, the tariffs formula that Trump is using has a fundamental math error. Destroying the global economy with a known math error. And congress is doing nothing.

Amazing how Republicans have screamed for years against raising taxes, yet they are touting these tariffs for bringing in up to 6 trillion in revenue. If that ends up being true (it won’t) THAT’S A NEW TAX AND DOUBLE THE CURRENT FEDERAL BUDGET! How is this not obvious?! Fucking morons!

I believe the majority of Americans don’t understand how insignificant it is for a billionaire to spend 24M on a campaign. If you assume Musk has 300B available to him to spend, that is the equivalent of a nice dinner for your family of four. It’s an obscene amount of wealth that makes him immune.

When it comes to understanding fire and climate change all you need to know is evapotransporation. As temperatures rise the amount of evt also increases drying out plants. There is simply not enough water to offset this loss on a large scale. Fires will continue to increase.

So wait a minute, another school shooting?! At a Christian school? I thought that was the religion that taught us how sacred life is that we are banning abortions but making sure they are armed once they are born. Seems consistent with their teachings. Those kids should have had weapons!
