www.britishmusicsociety.co.uk/2025/02/a-ne... We are excited to receive another positive review of our latest album. “This is a most enjoyable disc where the music is performed to an extremely high standard. Tuning and intonation are beyond reproach and the recording is both warm and clear”

Some nice concerts coming up in March..

I am very much looking forward to our next @caritaschoir.bsky.social gig with Musical Director @benedictpreece.bsky.social. Such a gorgeous work - and #bonus - in a lovely warm venue! Tickets are a #bargain at £12 from the Gulbenkian, 01227 769075 or thegulbenkian.co.uk/ #choralsinging #concert

@caritaschoir.bsky.social @benedictpreece.bsky.social @gabrielcomposer.bsky.social thanks so much - I so prefer a physical cd 💿 this really is a gem - some wonderful pieces on here It’s on a 2nd play already

Caritas is a Kent-based amateur chamber choir that is committed to working at a high standard. We rehearse weekly from 7:30pm to 9:30pm every Monday To apply for an audition, message us on Facebook or email with a brief CV/a recording: [email protected]

We have three concerts coming up in Kent. Details on the posters 🎅🏻

I see the early music crowd hasn’t arrived yet. They’ll probably join in a couple of hundred years but still claim to know how things were done at the beginning.

Yes! Quite a few ex-Canterbury choristers ended up being conductors. Obviously HC but also famous ones Christopher Seaman (who incidentally wrote a brilliant book on conducting) and Stephen Barlow!

Nice to see so many musicians joining. We must have almost enough now for a decent argument about something.

Perhaps if @patrickallies.bsky.social did another World Cup of anthems (etc.) everyone would join Bluesky?

I don’t have a Messiah coming up.. but lots of Baroque music in Kent this month :)

Please share with anyone who may be interested!
