Spent the last two days looking over, and polishing up some of my older tracks. Sometimes it's good to see what's previously worked, and what, in hindsight, maybe didn't. Also lets you remember some things you might've forgotten.

So I tried opening an old project file of mine from a year or two back, and for some reason, all the Kontakt 6 instruments are outputting in mono... And I'm not quite sure how to get them to not do that, ahaha. All the other instruments are fine. Just the old Kontakt ones, lol.

This is a (car) crash cymbal.

Well. For anyone who's been looking.

A little while back I took a visit to one of my favorite music places, Lark in the Morning! #gameaudio #DTM #screenshotsaturday

I need to redo my website, but for the life of me I'm not sure how to approach it. It's been a cluttered mess for too long, lol. Does anyone have any composer websites (doesn't have to be their own) that they personally admire?

This croissant looks like an ocarina...

In today's yukyuu lesson, we're taking a short divergence into talking about playing short notes! It's a bit trickier than you might expect!

Hi friends! Superball Bang from Triumph Audio just released! It's a really cool library where a drum kit was sampled with superball mallets! I had the pleasure of creating a demo for it! www.triumphaudio.com/products/p/s...

Happy #PortfolioDay! I guess I can post this here now. 👀

WAIT. BLUESKY INCREASED VIDEO LENGTHS TO THREE MINUTES?? ...And didn't increase the file size limit, apparently. 💀💀

Today we're tackling the most difficult aspect of the yukyuu: vibrato! This is the key to making the instrument shine, and it's by far the thing that takes the most practice!

Hi friends! If you're interested, I just uploaded the piece I arranged for the @marchcaprice.com concert this past weekend!

Big finale's coming up!

Today, we're going to be looking at bowing the yukyuu! Probably the trickiest part of the instrument! It has a unique way of bowing, that's different from a violin! Don't be surprised if it sounds a little harsh the first time you do it.

Hi friends! This concert is happening this weekend! Tons of amazing people submitted amazing music to it! I've got a little piece myself that should be live on the Sunday show, I believe! Would love for you to stop on by!

Thank you!

New addition to the setup: bamboo chimes from Thailand.

Let's take a look at the easiest way to make music with the yukyuu: by plucking it! It's the big warmup before bowing!

Carousel Con was amazing today! Thank you so much for a wonderful #GDC ! The audio community is so incredible!

The #GDC Carousel Con meetup spot!

Hi game audio #GDC friends! Carousel Con is back on again this year! Today and tomorrow at noon, we're going to have an informal audio meetup at the carousel near Yerba Buena, where, if you so choose, you can give a mini talk about anything audio related amongst your peers!
