Travis Hunter saying all the things in this thread today

Peak social media behavior. Fun fact about me: If I’m wrong, you won’t need to circle back to tell me so. I’ll be advertising it.

I’m not necessarily saying this first part but I am very much saying this last part. I don’t feel confident, but I’m open-minded to it. And I think any vague consideration of his perspective and the feedback he’s gotten — that he actually is different — will have him telling teams he wants to try.

People believed there was no way Shohei Ohtani could be elite at two positions until he was. People just refuse to see upside in uncertainty. It hasn’t happened therefore it can’t.

This is all we can really wrap our heads around but imo this is what we do with every prospect — try to fit them into an NFL box instead of looking harder at their college careers. He played 776 defensive and 753 offensive snaps last year at Colorado, 592 and 452 the year prior.

People keep debating what position Travis Hunter is going to play, but think obv answer is he’s v likely to push to play both, at least during his rookie contract. Players don’t want to limit themselves. Played for Deion, became first modern two-way Heisman winner. It’s what makes him unique.

AJ Brown adding a new, more terrifying level of WR social media posting with essentially “The war is over, but my sword still thirsts for blood.” @edsbs.bsky.social @pablo.show

Potential landing spots I like for Cooper Kupp if he does hit free agency... 1) Chargers. Kupp's blocking is going to drive some of his value as he gets older, and the Chargers are going to ask their wideouts to block and then pick up YAC on play-action. Being able to stay in LA seems like a plus.

The moment someone starts making salary cap arguments for why something can or can't happen in the NFL, just ignore their opinion. "They can't take a $15m cap hit!" YES THEY CAN. IT'S FAKE. (Also, @bengretch.bsky.social and I *told* you Kupp was getting cut on my show!)

Went team by team breaking down important context around every pass catcher in the league — leveraging my weekly research at Stealing Signals — in this postmortem series that uses TPRR as a launching point. AFC: bengretch.substack.com/p/the-2025-t... NFC: bengretch.substack.com/p/the-2025-t...

Came to same conclusion in my TPRR series that Pitts makes a lot of sense as a trade candidate, based also on him not really being the type of TE Atlanta wants to use

you guys wouldn’t believe how unhinged the discussion is about the 4th down play at the other site

Man Kincaid has to catch that

That’s going to be impossible to overturn either way. It’s so freaking close.

I hope this game goes to 17 overtimes

What a risky play! Wow

No way

Unreal effort from James Cook, this game rules, as expected

Hearing Shawn Hochuli have to describe the free TD would’ve been too good not to let it happen, we were robbed

I will say, you might have to be more specific when discussing "palpably unfair acts" with regards to the tush push

Inquiring minds are asking

FRANKIE LUVU

I wanted the fake TD so bad

This is so tough to watch. Daniels is playing incredible football and should be right in this game. Two massive drive-extending penalty misses for Philly, two fumbles for Washington, are so obviously the difference.

Daniels very much did *not* have options on that 2-point try. Man he’s so good. Understood his only chance was the Zaccheaus route, looked backside to give it the best chance, threw right as his head flipped back because that had to be right, and ball had to be out. Couldn’t run, didn’t have flat.
