This poison is now too deep in the blood of our system for anything short of radical structural change to address it. Possible reforms like expanding the court are not going to be adequate and cannot be accomplished on the timeframe necessary to protect vulnerable Americans from what is coming.

Cuomo is a political cockroach.

people sometimes ask me “how did you get in my house?!?!” & i have to spend 12 minutes gently explaining that they live in a walkable city

Ironically, in the very interview Gillibrand is so nastily misrepresenting, Mamdani says one reason he avoids policing language is knowing how “Arabic words can be twisted, can be distorted, can be used to justify any kind of meaning” having grown post-9/11. And here she is, doing exactly that.

From the polling firm that brought you “Cuomo will win the primary by double digits” comes….

Adams has the same problem that Cuomo faced: the more voters are reminded of him, the more likely they remember any of the many reasons not to like him. It's hard to run a successful campaign while staying juuust far enough inside the periphery of voters' consciousness that they remember your name.

Poor Curtis Sliwa waving his arms frantically for attention while New York's billionaires say "please, anyone run against Mamdani, literally anyone, we will give you half a billion dollars, is there NO ONE out there"

and also in federal court

Rather than the usual top-cop stuff, Adams is talking affordable housing, free pre-K, mental health resources, and "fighting for working-class New Yorkers," that he's saying he's about "solutions, not slogans." It's clear Mamdani has firmly defined the field they're going to be fighting on.

"When we took 20,000 guns off the streets, we took them out of the hands of black and brown people," riffs Mayor Adams in his reelection announcement speech.

Adams announcing his reelection campaign now. Zohran is going to obliterate this dude. I cannot wait for the debates. Watch live: www.c-span.org/event/news-c...

Kirsten Gillibrand on WNYC won’t endorse Mamdani. Said she doesn’t endorse NYC mayoral races (she endorsed Adams in 2021), and is waiting to see who runs on what line. What a fucking disgrace.

move away from punditry. join with your neighbors and organize.

And, just as the US did with Cuba, Republicans will attempt to cut off all resources to New York and then blame Mamdani for any resulting downturn.

made daily with FOOD

maybe the real tragedy is that even though Jews are safe, there was a 35 million dollar effort to frighten and terrorize them? like, the guy admits Mamdani is not going to do anything dangerous. so why do any (not all, but any) Jews feel unsafe? who misled them? why don't you care?

Tons worth celebrating tonight and so much to be proud of. Thank you to every volunteer and every organization like @nywfp.bsky.social and @jfrejnyc.bsky.social for organizing. Lots more to do. Expect every dirty trick imaginable to be thrown at Mamdani. But tonight, goddamn does this feel good.

I support our president in his efforts to make Zohran a national figure

long story short if you registered after the 9th and are voting today, your records are going to be missing when you try to vote. They didn’t update from the 9th-14th But you are registered and eligible, do the affidavit ballot, it will be counted

Hey NYC - rank me #1 and @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social #2 to leave the bitter, sour, corrupt politics of the past behind!

When your neighborhood gardener faces the prospect of being sent to a Taliban torture chamber in Afghanistan, sold into slavery in Libya or murdered by a gang in Honduras, the moral thing to do is to hide them

Everyone should wake up every day and live a life that would make Chaya Raichik angry.

NYC I cannot stress this enough: for your own health and safety, if you are 50+ years old and a moderate or conservative registered to vote in the Democratic primary, please stay in your home for at least the next 36 hours.
