We finally had our rematch. I retreated US forces behind the river but lost 6 vs 4. A very close call as one more turn would probably have given me the victory. What a thriller! #boardgames #memoir44

The panzer iv needs some support so I dug up my toys from the 90s and am sorting all the ww2 1/72 soldiers. Should have probably done that before painting the tank. Don’t think there is anything Normandyesque in here.

I was following a tutorial and used a piece of foam to apply the camo but that clearly was not for this scale. Added a wash and now drying so I can continue tomorrow. Not so pleased with the result but I can always restart after the 31st. #airfix #FestiveTankChallenge #FestiveTankChallenge24

Day four #FestiveTankChallenge24. Used some super glue to try to connect the two sides of the tracks but it does not bond to the plastic, rubber, whatever it is. How am I supposed to put it on a base? 🤔 That’s all for today. #FestiveTankChallenge #airfix

Day three of the #FestiveTankChallenge24. It’s completed, kinda. The tracks prove to be quite a challenge. One just won’t stay on, I could just take a picture before it sprang off again flipping the tank. So that needs to be fixed before painting can start. #FestiveTankChallenge #airfix

Sunday #memoir44. Playing it on the historic day adds that bit of extra flavour. The US player blew up a bridge while my infantry was on it but the panzers were able to push trough enemy lines. On to Antwerp! 6 vs 1. Next time the rematch.
