I think, on balance, I rather liked the Doctor Who season premiere. Not perfect, but then the show rarely ever is. What it was, however, was bristling with great ideas, ambitious, funny, and full of heart. And those closing moments were chilling. Give me the next episode!

Twitter was full of Reply Guys who, when you make a joke, try to punch it up by saying basically the exact same joke at you. BlueSky is full of people who, on the Surface at least, do not seem to know what a joke is conceptually and take posts at face value. Threads is full of QVC salespeople.

Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines. When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.
