They’re called steroids. What I don’t understand is why no investigative reporter has ever uncovered the very obvious steroid dealing network that undergirds many major films.

If you use all kids <18 as the denominator, the gender dysphoria rate is a lot lower than if you look just at 17 and 18 year olds—which makes more sense to do when the average age at diagnosis was 16. About 1 in 240 17 to 18 year olds had a GD diagnosis in 2021; the rate was higher for natal girls.
