I don't know how it happened, but the shift at my job from "sit at desk waiting for phone to ring to have a ticket" to "on-site correspondence at three locations, 30+ tickets in tray at any given time, mentoring two interns, and creating how-to-use-new-app documents for users" sure happened fast.
