DT Larry Ogunjobi is signing with the Bills on a one-year deal, ESPN’s @bepryor.bsky.social confirmed. Bills continuing to add to defensive line

Najee Harris is heading back to the West Coast on a one-year deal with the Chargers, per Schefter, as Jim Harbaugh finally lands the RB, who picked Alabama over Michigan in 2017. Great fit for both sides. Harris' one-year deal is worth a max of $9.25m. Fifth-year option was $6.7m (corrected)

Steelers have indeed agreed to terms with LB Malik Harrison, league source confirms. He gets a two-year, $10 million deal. Harrison, a 2020 Ravens third-round pick, had a career year with 54 tackles and 3 TFL in 2024. Signing makes it hard to see Elandon Roberts returning.

Steelers have informed DE Larry Ogunjobi he’s being released, source confirms. Move saves the Steelers $7 million in cap space

Justin Fields was having a late, 10pm dinner in Italy when he learned he'd been traded to the Steelers last year. Seems fitting that he's in Dubai for the start of free agency, where it's currently 10:04 p.m.

Former Steelers OT Dan Moore II gets a MASSIVE payday from the Tennessee Titans, per Schefter -- four years, $82 million, 50 guaranteed. Record-setting deal for a tackle.

Theme of free agency so far is teams are looking at a weak FA class, with a ton of money, and deciding to overpay their own guys instead of overpaying other guys. Paying the devil they know.

Alix Earle -- er, Braxton Berrios -- is going to the Texans on a one-year, $2 million deal, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus via Schefter

Adam Schefter says on ESPN that Justin Fields is "keeping the Steelers at bay" and reiterates that he could come back to Pittsburgh -- but it's a big opportunity for the Jets to make their pitch to the former first-round QB. Schefter says Fields is the "first domino" that has to fall.

you can sign up to get push notifications from schefter directly from the ESPN app btw

gentlemen, start your tampering

If a free agent agrees to terms with a team but there’s no twitter post to break it, did it even happen?

If Bluesky could set up a way to turn on account notifications asap, that’d be *great*

My personal favorite thing about the combine is the discussions I get to have with my very smart friends about the league. For the second straight year, we did it into microphones! @bepryor.bsky.social & @danpizzuta.bsky.social joined me for our 2nd Annual Reporter Roundtable: youtu.be/g68AjKxjBk0

Steelers release EDGE Preston Smith, freeing up a significant amount of cap space. He was set to count $13.4M against the cap in 2025 and $14.1M in 2026. Smith, a trade deadline acquisition from Green Bay, was a healthy scratch in two of the final three games.

Beyonce's reaction was fantastic

I screamed so loud when Cowboy Carter won country album of the year that my husband got worried from his office upstairs

With no quarterback under contract for 2025 - other than Skyler Thompson’s futures deal - there’s multiple directions the Steelers could take. Taking a page from my favorite books, I went down some of those hypotheticals: Choose Your Own QB Adventure www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

ICYMI Did a Steelers' deep dive with @bepryor.bsky.social & Tim Benz - Credit/blame for '24 - Who's the QB in '25? - Is Tomlin the only NFL coach who could've made four playoff appearances over the last six seasons with THOSE rosters? - Who built that roster? -> youtu.be/XldAJmRQzrI?...

"I remember watching and thinking, this is NOT good" Interesting note from @bepryor.bsky.social on how Russ looked in practice the wk before the w/c game. Cued up -> youtu.be/XldAJmRQzrI?...

Once again, securing a quarterback is the Steelers’ top offseason priority www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

there's some dark humor in the fact that the show following the AFC Championship on CBS is based in Pittsburgh. Closest the Steelers have gotten to the title game in a long time.

Was really hoping for a defying gravity riff on brave from Mary Kate Morrissey but that was still a solid national anthem.

T.J. Watt has been named a finalist for AP Defensive Player of the Year

Though the 2025 Steelers quarterback is a mystery, there's still offensive pieces to build around. A look at what the Steelers have going forward: www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

The outcome of the 2024 playoffs likely won't dictate Tomlin's legacy in Pittsburgh or his future with the franchise. But as the team continues to come up empty in the playoffs, a display case waiting for trophies is instead filling up with baggage. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

Steelers defense holds the Bengals to a 48-yard field goal after another seamless drive by Burrow and the Bengals offense. Big time tackle by DeShon Elliott on Mike Gesicki on second down - plus Queen's third down sack fumble - crucial on the drive.

Ja'Marr Chase having no trouble against Cory Trice. Steelers miss Donte Jackson in a big way. Bengals only faced one third down on their opening drive and converted with an eight-yard completion to Chase. Two plays later, Chase finds the end zone. 7-0 Bengals, 9:49 1Q

Gates have opened at Acrisure Stadium where it feels like 11 degrees with wind gusts up to 21mph. Hope yinz bundled up!

Bill Belichick rang in the new year sipping champagne and listening to Taylor Swift with his girlfriend. idk how he’ll do recruiting college kids, but he’s knocking it out of the park with millennial women.

Maybe I shouldn’t have taken NyQuil at halftime … SNF is wild

George Pickens said he hasn’t been cleared to return yet, and it’s up to the doctors if he plays Wed. “I feel good, but who make the decision is the coaches and the doctors. So just whatever they tell me to do I'm doing. “Whenever you guys find out is when. I'll find out.”

Cam Heyward, one of the Steelers' NFLPA player reps, was really strong on the impact of stacking short-week games --especially late season. "You don't want to mess up the product, but we've been saying this since we got Thursday night games. It's not easy." Full quotes ⬇️

Boswell hits a 51-yard field goal to end the first half. Ravens lead 17-10, but Steelers get the ball first after the break.

Ravens add a 51-yard field goal by Justin Tucker, who missed two in the first meeting of these teams. 17-7 Ravens, 1:43 2Q

Russell Wilson's fumble costs the Steelers seven points. Ravens go 96 yards and cap it with a 14-yard touchdown from Lamar Jackson to Rashod Bateman.

What a huge momentum swing. Russell Wilson had nothing but green grass, but runs into tackle trying to get to the end zone and fumbles. 20-yard run turns into a fumble and Ravens ball.

Ravens just played a hype video in the stadium of a pack of CGI ravens shredding a terrible towel. Do curses apply to produced videos?
