Good progress on the final woodblock for the Widdershins Walk project. In the book we discuss Oystercatchers. They first bred in Berkshire in 2010, at two sites, both on the route of our walk. Order your copy of the book from www.peculiaritypress.co.uk/store/p23/wi... #ukbirding #berksbirds #art

Waders/shorebirds are individuals. Counting flocks tells you only part of the story, when assessing the impact of a new development. If you read one WaderTales blog, please make it this one: wadertales.wordpress.com/2023/04/07/c... Paper: Josh Nighingale et al. #ConservationScience🌏
