Last week, our studio held a fundraising sale to support humanitarian aid in Ukraine, suffering under Russian aggression. We sold nearly 60,000 copies of our games — huge thanks to everyone who joined in! Interestingly, the top 3 countries by number of sales were: 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇦 Ukraine 🇷🇺 Russia 👀

Spring in our garden! ☀️🌼🌷

We’re honored to share you helped us raise $68,000 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine. THANK YOU!

The people of Ukraine continue to suffer under ongoing Russian aggression. From March 26 to April 2, we’ll be donating 100% of the proceeds from our games and DLC on all platforms to @peopleinneed.bsky.social to support humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

My work today? I posted three different posts on three different dev forums, trying to fix three different issues—none of which are in my codebase. 🙃

Our 🇨🇿 highest mountains and the best weather I’ve ever experienced there.

Just started exploring Game Pass on my new PC, and I’m loving this category of short, bite-sized games! The curation could be better, but I’m all for this direction!

Welcome Eva, the art director of Phonopolis and one of the most talented artists here in Central Europe.

My 10 y/o just finished Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle on the Switch and was looking for another turn-based game. Now he’s playing Into the Breach, one of the best strategy games on the Switch with outstanding gamepad controls. 🎮

And how was your today commute? 🚴🥶

We're fully locked into production on a new game in Unity, but we love seeing all the buzz around Godot! Definitely planning to explore it for future projects and excited to see how much it matures over the next couple of years.

We're just two programmers in our team—too small to handle a full CI server. But that doesn’t mean we can’t use local automation for builds and deployment! I’m already using this setup across 4 projects. It’s not fully public yet, but if you're an indie game dev and want to try it out, DM me!

Czech landscape is beautiful in autumn. And no people on trails. (We had a free weekend without kids!)

Can't share the current project yet (playtesters love it!). Meanwhile, here’s a tool we use to streamline work: the Save Tool. It lets the game load into a chosen saved state, speeding up iteration by enabling quick jumps to specific scenarios.

Why does 'finding the fun' fail so often as a design strategy? #gamedesign New designers are told to prototype and 'find the fun'. But the naive version of this is a garbage tactic that mostly results in poorly thought out prototypes that are never going to converge on gameplay.
