Good tea, nice house. Toys, VG, comics. As an 8 yr old I loved (and still love) Batman Returns.

Honestly the most excited I’ve been for a comic book in a hot minute. My body is ready.

Pretty excited about the Venom and Black Cat from Spider-Man 2. Definitely picking those two up. Venom looks fun as hell. 10 inches of Venom.

It’s a dreary day, work isn’t blasting my ass, so here’s some fun stuff to distract from the horrors beyond human thought otherwise clogging up news and social media.

Shit, almost missed it again. Work was nonstop plus a rural water meeting after, so I got an excuse. This week’s #VintageToyTuesday is the Dark Knight Collection Batmobile. My white whale for years, and finally got one in box for a decent price a while back. She’s a beaut. Still unparalleled.

This one’s pretty special for me. This version was my first GR figure, but broke or didn’t work or something, and my dad was one of those dads that would return something in a heartbeat. Got returned, didn’t have another, but they had the cycle w the grey version, so we got that.

Funds have been super tight for a while, so haven’t had a chance to really pick much up recently. Finally got by the shop to pick up a few weeks of books and BAM the Ghost Rider I’ve been looking for. Also got my Star Trek fix and TDKR Catwoman w “ears” up I was missing. Damn good trip.

I’m probably going to have to mute most/all accounts I follow that post and repost political news and goings on. It’s legitimately fucking me up and just making me angry all the time.

I’ve been kind of a mess the last few days and #VintageToyTuesday almost came and went. Here’s the Blackbird. It’s absolutely fantastic.

Fuck. Yes. Now to find a desk. Been looking for months, but still haven’t found one that’s Goldie Locks.

It’s happeeeennnnning

We’ve been working on swapping out the dining room for my study for like a damned year. And FINALLY finished painting. Did the chair rail and wanes-coating by hand. I’m pretty damn proud. Now to add some scotch and Batmobiles to this thing and make it something.

Fun stuff for Saturday night, because shits fucked. John de Lancie was a delight. Actually took an interest in my career field, and I was a bumbling star struck mess. Super nice guy. Also had no recollection of voicing Granymyr in MOTU Revolution.

Jesus fucking Christ this shit is overwhelming. I am superwhelmed. Here’s some fun stuff instead. I need more beer. Fuck.

There is a contraption that will save us from all this godforsaken insanity.

“A gentleman by the name of Todd who walked out of a side closet told us we had to leave, so we did.”

This #VintageToyTuesday is Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Full disclaimer, I fucking LOVE this line. Longbow and Sheriff got a lot of use in the way back years. Recently completed the line loose and on card. Just missing the Battle Wagon and Sherwood. I can be patient w those two.

Please Galactus, just get it over with.

Think I’m gonna watch Andor again, for a few very particular reasons. Fuck the Empire.

The way they’re going, I give them a year, TOPS. When they go after Social Security, which they will, heads will (hopefully literally) roll.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm. The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him. Happy Black History Month.

'The Chicken Stock Reduction' • One year ago today I created this miniature Shawshank, Chicken Run Mashup using real lighting, figures and miniature sets. I designed and printed out the little newspaper clipping Fowler is using for a poster. • #photography #miniatures #chickenrun #toyphotography

Another unspeakable horror show in America, another #TMNTaDay! Day 2, my second turt ever, Donatello does machines.

Brining this back from when I re-got back on Twitter a few years ago. I did #TMNTaDay through my entire collection. Same pics from like 4 yrs ago. Gonna restart that bc holy fuck is American life an unmitigated disaster right now. DAY ONE: Leo, my first and still favorite.

For #VintageToyTuesday, I’m plucking some pics of Playmates’ Star Trek TNG. The Bridge set is FANTASTIC. Actually all the playsets are. This is a super easy, fun, and cheap line to collect. Highest recommendation.

Man, I love when things like Ninja Gaiden 2 Black just “poof, it’s up on Gamepass and you can play it now.” No months of “discourse,” just playing a surprise new game the day it comes out.

Cheap! I love that my local shop has beaters on card for cheap that are prime for ripping open. Getting kind of burned out on some modern stuff, shifting towards cheaper older lines now. But I could talk for hours about modern vs 80/90s and folks my age.

Nuked mine months ago, most cool folks I followed are here now in at least a decent capacity. This place has the juice, Twitter is a Nazi cesspool, and I encourage everyone to nuke your Twitter account if you haven’t yet. Don’t even have to migrate here, just GTFO of Twitter.

It’s super fun. And you play it in “book” mode with the screens horizontal. No idea what it goes for now, but if you like NG, it’s def worth it.
