I always believed that as we grew older, most people eventually bullies as the weak, idiotic people that they truly are. That bullies are people to be reviled, shunned, and ignored in society. Sent away. Seeing how many people are praising Trump for his conduct today...I believe I am wrong.

So for my yearly BINGO goals, I just finished my first book. Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi @scalzi.com A wonderful little thrill of an adventure. I honestly grabbed a bag of popcorn to munch on as I finished the final act. A perfect kind of book to get me back into reading.

You know what I think Star Trek got wrong (sorry if others have known this and I'm just catching up)? In a post-scarcity society, people won't use their extra time to learn new things, develop skills, advance themselves. They will just find new ways to entertain themselves and waste the days away.

I will be cheering for either AFC team next week to win the Super Bowl. Not only do Philly fans suck and they deserve to suffer, but AFC teams have better storyline. Bills: finally winning first one after going 0-4 previously. Chiefs: being first team to win three straight.

I decided to make a 2025 Goal BINGO card instead of doing traditional resolutions. I haven't crossed any off yet, but I've made progress on several. Feels good to set long term goals that are attainable instead of big, idealistic statements without an end game.

Oh the drive home, the 7-year-old requested music. So I throw on some Beach Boys. He was not a fan and instantly asked me to play Baby Metal instead. I was both proud and disappointed at the same time.
