Last night my kid sat up in bed, eyes open three times and said “dooooo” loudly. I put a paci in their mouth and pushed them back onto the bed and they immediately fell back asleep. What are 1 year olds? 🤷‍♂️

My favorite advice we heard and used our first year with a kid 1. Don’t make a happy baby happier. If they’re playing independently, let them play. 2. Is it unsafe or just inconvenient? So they’re getting into stuff and you’ll have to reorganize or change their clothes? That’s fine

Cis folks: please set the goal of doing something that benefits trans people this week. Donate to a trans mutual aid fund or the ACLU. Check on your trans friends, buy them a meal, drop off a casserole. Hire a trans person, commission an artist. Get an HRT script and make a stockpile.
