So much of this made-up, both-sides crap is about journalists and pundits wanting the appearance of fairness and equitable coverage to act as armor against criticism. But to the right IT IS NEVER ENOUGH. To the right, the truth is a literal attack.

I have such a deep disdain for AI worship. We are literally witnessing in real time what happens when unqualified, knowledge-averse assholes run the government. Shallow idealizing of tech without care for ethics or long-term effects is a small part of how we got here but it’s still a part.
