So, I finished The Day Of The Jackal with Eddie Redmayne. Have to admit... I have no idea why it's been getting such glowing reviews. Redmayne acted it out like a champ, which is at least something. But the writing was, unfortunately, a hot mess. Jason Bourne meets James Bond this is not. 💔

Given today's news, I can't help but feel glad that studio's like Portkey Games exist. They represent everything that Rowling hates, and developed a game that was largely made for, and to welcome back the fans who were disenfranchised by her intolerance and ignorance.

That... yeah, no. Toph is a brilliantly written, very human character. A powerful, multi-layered tomboy whose aversion to femininity was quite nicely explored in the cartoon. Man, that #AvatarTheLastAirbender Live-Action show is making way too many core characters barely recognizable.

Watched the s2 premier of Doctor Who, "The Robot Revolution". Not quite sure how to feel about it... There was still a lot to like, luckily. But the writing was just a bit too weak, IMO. Felt like the writers only had a shallow understanding of what they were trying to convey.
